Keeping Dinky One's Busy

I have 8 years of experience working with children from many different environments. My main experience is working as a nanny; however, I have gained experience in these sectors too: Nanny share, Night nannying, Event Nannying and Nursery work. I’ve worked with a wide range of ages from new born up 12 years old. I have a strong passion for providing a safe but fun atmosphere and environment for children of all age groups and understand children’s wants and needs. In all my jobs I have helped implement routines, helped with daily tasks and taken general care of little ones, and mainly loved them like my own.  

With all this experience, I am also a mum to a little girl who is 3 years old.  Therefore, I am fully aware of the all the highs and lows of having a child. How much your life change’s when you have a child and how they become your entire world and more. I will always offer a listening ear and will always dish out the best advice I can.  

After being a nanny for 7 years, I feel like is now time for a change. I’ve never wanted to step away from working with children as that’s where my passion is but I could never pin point exactly what I wanted to do up until now. With so much brainstorming, looking into what is missing in Godalming and what parents/carers want and need and what I would want as a parent, I felt there is an open space for a soft play. I feel I could offer a place for the children to play and a space for parents/carers to enjoy a hot cup of tea while their dinky ones burn off energy, where both could socialise, meet friends and make new ones. So, I’ve turned my dreams into reality... I can't wait to meet you all. 

We are delighted to have Clare working at Bears Little Play. You will see Clare at our sessions and occasionally at parties. Clare is there to give you a warm welcome,  take your order at our cafe,  keep equipment clean and provide a friendly chat. Clare has two daughters and two granddaughters and is always willing to give advice. She is always happy to give your baby a cuddle so you can enjoy a hot drink.  Clare holds a full DBS check.

Laurens has 14 years experience in childcare. From being  in a nursery setting and from being a nanny. She is also a mum to three children,  so knows how to juggle things but also stay super organised. We are thrilled to have Lauren working with us. She is the queen of Bears Little Parties. She is there to greet you and get you prepared and ready for your party by setting out the equipment to your preference. You may also see Lauren at sessions too. Lauren holds a full DBS check.
